1. What is tallow and why is it used in Onestă creams? Tallow is purified natural fat derived from bovine sebum. It's incredibly similar to the oils in our own skin , allowing it to absorb quickly and deeply nourish without leaving a greasy residue . We chose it because it's a traditional, sustainable ingredient packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, which naturally restore the skin.
2. Are the creams suitable for all skin types? Yes! They're formulated to suit most skin types, even sensitive, dry, or irritated skin. If you have oily skin, use it sparingly: it's very concentrated, and a little goes a long way .
3. Do they have added fragrances or perfumes? We don't use synthetic perfumes. The subtle scent you might notice comes solely from natural plant oils and infusions (such as calendula, chamomile, lavender, etc.). It's the true scent of nature, without any tricks.
4. Do they use preservatives or synthetic chemicals? Absolutely not. Our products are 100% natural, free of artificial preservatives, silicones, and parabens. Therefore, the only "chemical" we ask you to apply is: store them in a cool, dry place , away from sunlight.
5. Can I use the cream on my face and body? Absolutely! It's a multi-functional formula ideal for everything. It's excellent for dry, irritated, or sun- and wind-exposed areas. If your facial skin is very oily or acne-prone, test it on a small area first to ensure it works well for you.
6. How long do the creams last once opened? Since they contain no artificial preservatives, we recommend using them within 6 months of opening. Properly stored (in a cool, clean place), the quality will remain excellent even longer.
7. How should I store the products? Store them tightly sealed, away from direct heat or sunlight . If it's very warm outside, you can even keep them in the refrigerator to maintain a firmer texture (like a balm).
8. Do creams melt in the heat or harden in the cold? Yes, and that's a good sign! Because they don't use artificial stabilizers, ambient temperature affects their texture, making them softer in the heat and firmer in the cold. This doesn't affect their quality or properties.
9. Are they suitable for babies, pregnant women, or sensitive skin? Yes, they're made with gentle, safe, and high-quality ingredients, without fragrances or harsh chemicals. However, if you have very sensitive skin, it's always wise to do a patch test first.
10. What is the difference between the 100g and 200g versions? The only difference is the container size. The formula is exactly the same . The 200g pot is more economical and ideal for family or daily use, while the 100g pot is perfect for trying it out or carrying in your bag.

11. Where does the tallow they use come from? We use tallow from responsibly raised cattle. We purify it through a slow and careful process to ensure clean, odorless fat that retains all its nutrients. It's our way of fully utilizing a valuable resource from the food industry that would otherwise be discarded.

What are the benefits of shea butter, calendula, and chamomile? * Shea Butter: Deep hydration and repair. * Calendula: Soothes, regenerates, and relieves irritations and redness. * Chamomile: Anti-inflammatory and softening properties. This combination enhances the restorative effect of the Tallow , providing nourishment, relief, and exceptional softness.
13. Do you use local or imported ingredients? We prioritize local ingredients whenever possible, supporting small producers and responsible trade. Some ingredients, such as shea butter, are imported due to their (naturally African) origin, but all are selected for their purity and quality without compromise.
14. Are the raw materials natural or organic? All our ingredients are natural . Many of them are certified organic at their source. At Onestă, traceability and transparency are key: every raw material is chosen for its purity and perfect compatibility with the skin.
15. Are the creams vegan or cruelty-free ? They're not vegan because the tallow is of animal origin. However, they are cruelty-free : we don't test on animals, and we use byproducts from the food industry, promoting a comprehensive and sustainable approach to resource utilization .

16. How often should I apply the cream? It depends. For dry skin, once or twice a day is ideal. For normal skin, use it as needed. Always apply with gentle, circular motions so your skin can absorb the magic.
17. Can it be used on skin with acne or irritations? Yes, the tallow and our oils are non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) and very gentle. If you have active breakouts or severe irritation, we recommend testing on a small area first to ensure it's comfortable for you.
18. Is it normal for the texture to vary between batches? Completely normal. As these are handmade products without synthetic stabilizers, there may be slight variations in texture depending on the temperature or humidity during production. This does not affect their quality or properties in any way.
19. How should the product be used for best results? * Take a small amount with a spatula or clean hands. * Apply to clean, dry skin . * Gently massage until fully absorbed. Pro tip: Apply right after showering (when skin is still slightly damp) for extra hydration .
20. Can I use it along with other cosmetics or treatments? Yes, our creams are compatible with other products. If you have sensitive skin, we suggest applying medicated treatments or lighter serums first, and then using our cream as a final layer for intense nourishment and protection .
